In the world of marketing, a successful comeback can be a game-changer for a brand. One such comeback moment in recent years was the relaunch of the Ford Capri, but this time as an electric vehicle. The 2025 Ford Capri Electric has been making waves in the automotive industry, with many hailing it as a shining example of a successful marketing comeback.
The Ford Capri was originally introduced in the 1960s as a sporty coupe that quickly became a favorite among car enthusiasts. However, as times changed and consumer preferences shifted towards more eco-friendly options, the Ford Capri fell out of favor. But Ford saw an opportunity to revive the Capri nameplate with a modern twist – by making it an electric vehicle.
The 2025 Ford Capri Electric boasts impressive performance, with a powerful electric motor that delivers quick acceleration and a smooth ride. The sleek and aerodynamic design of the car has also garnered praise from critics and consumers alike. With a range of over 300 miles on a single charge, the Capri Electric is positioning itself as a practical and stylish option for those looking to make the switch to electric vehicles.
But it’s not just the performance and design of the 2025 Ford Capri Electric that have impressed consumers – it’s also the brand’s marketing strategy. Ford has done an excellent job of leveraging the nostalgia associated with the Capri name while also highlighting the modern and sustainable aspects of the new electric model. By tapping into the emotions and memories of car enthusiasts who remember the original Capri, Ford has created a sense of excitement and anticipation around the new electric version.
In contrast, we have seen many marketing comebacks that have fallen flat in recent years, with brands failing to capture the essence of their original success or failing to adapt to changing consumer preferences. The 2025 Ford Capri Electric stands out as a shining example of how a brand can successfully reinvent itself and appeal to a new generation of consumers.
In conclusion, the 2025 Ford Capri Electric is a prime example of a successful marketing comeback. By reviving the iconic Capri nameplate and reimagining it as an electric vehicle, Ford has managed to generate excitement and interest in the brand once again. With impressive performance, stylish design, and a clever marketing strategy, the Ford Capri Electric is setting the standard for marketing comebacks in the automotive industry.
Jesus christ imagine saying you drive a capri then roll out in that thing😂🤮
It's just another EV …. Nothing like the original Capri in shape or form… At least Renault have retained the over all look with their new Renault 5 EV… Which actually looks like it would be fun to drive… This just looks like any other SUV EV.
Thats not a capri, its a Ford Edsel.
Oh my 🤢 another Ford not worth considering.
I finger tip in Ford Capri . So why the hell am I seeing this lousy ugly duckling. If this is a Capri, then I'm Marilyn Monroe.
Judge it for what it is not what people think it should be from its name. I had a 3.0s in the early 80s, it was no more than OK. The EV turns up next week and can’t wait!
What a disgrace to a classic. These designers need sacking! What's with all these ugly ass unispired suv's…
Tish, another beautiful presentation, Darling. Many thanks for the Joos Up information.
Had a mk1 2000gt. V4 transit engine and rotted around my ears. Gosh, I loved that car! This new one is just a blob.
The original Capri was an inspiring 2 door sports coupe I owned one and loved it, this new EV Capri is none of those things.
Amazing design, the total lack of heritage, respect and creativity for the original knows no bounds it would appear.
My current car is long in the tooth and needs to be moving on, but with the seemingly endless parade of lack lustre dull creations being spewed out like used up chewing gum, I’ll think I will stick with my current drive.
This a hugely wasted opportunity, so disappointing!
Awful looking inside and out!
i feel she shows why i would normaly and in the future only watch male driving reviews dint inform me anythin g real about the car and driving just spouts the spec as if a newbie car rep in amassive dealer chain
I’m an ex-Ford of Europe employee, this is apiece of shit and a disgrace to the legacy of the Capri name.
The sooner that moron Jim Farley is shown the door, the sooner Ford will return to its former great self.
Well, I can honestly say I am seriously underwhelmed with the new Capri EV. It bears no resemblance to the MK.2 Capri Ghia I had!😮
This car ain't for anyone. Damn disgrace renaming this car after a icon
this is a fail…disgraceful prostitution of Fords past
Worst car ford has made insult to the original 😢
Unfortunately it has no relevance to an original Capri whatsoever. Zilch. It’s a VW SUV with the same name and that’s as far as it goes. The black sticker on the front and the rear quarter glass is like trying to put a bit of glitter on a turd and calling it a gemstone. I can see why Ford are playing on this, it’s getting them loads of publicity, but unfortunately for the wrong reasons. But great video Tish, I just hate the car 😂
The car is hideous inside and that over-sized steering wheel and the sound bar are just ridiculous.
Who on their right mind created this thing and who will buy it ?
I owned a Ford Capri in 1975 for 2 years. It was a 1970 model if I recall correctly. I was pretty fond of it then but I don't think it was a model that would interest me now as a classic. So to me it is all about forgetting that old Capri and judge the electric Capri on its own merits. If Ford want to recycle old names I wish them all the best. But in the current market I think there are more desirable offerings then this EV. To me anyway. Though I like the color statement. There are to many drab grey cars on the rad.
This thing is an insult to the Capri
It’s a NO from me
An opportunity totally missed, call this a Mondeo and leave the Capri name for a new sharp electric or hybrid coupe. There is a yellow one in the Ford showroom where my wife works, it’s been there since launch day😳 Tells you something.
