As a child I played, grabbing every opportunity to disappear into an imaginary world.
One day Lego building the next minute charging around playing games with my brother Graeme Elkin occasionally this would end up with a disagreement, we always made up.
Graeme and I would go on cycle rides in the summer with a picnic packed into the broken basket on the back of my bike and we laughed and laughed and played.
I watch my daughter and I am in awe as creates characters for all her toys, playing classrooms and castle, giving each toy a different voice.
I know speaking on camera is challenging and the thought of going on video for a marketing campaign can be daunting.
Today I challenge you to start seeing the fun when you are asked to public speak or present on camera; to embrace the game and stop limiting your adult self.
Let’s all dare each other to embrace the fun when we go on camera. Having fun is the quickest route to confidently speaking on camera for YouTube, Tik Tok or social media marketing.
