In today’s digital age, video marketing has become an essential tool for businesses to reach and engage with their target audience. With the rise of platforms like YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, consumers are consuming more video content than ever before. As we head into 2019, it’s crucial for businesses to have a successful video marketing strategy in place to stay ahead of the competition.
Here are some tips on how to create a successful video marketing strategy for 2019:
1. Define Your Goals: Before you start creating videos, it’s essential to establish your goals for your video marketing strategy. Are you looking to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, generate leads, or boost sales? Having a clear understanding of your objectives will guide the type of content you create and the platforms you choose to distribute it on.
2. Know Your Audience: Understanding your target audience is crucial for creating effective video content. You need to know who they are, what they like, and where they spend their time online. By understanding their interests and preferences, you can create videos that resonate with them and drive engagement.
3. Create Valuable Content: Whether it’s a product demo, a how-to tutorial, or a behind-the-scenes look at your business, your videos should provide value to your audience. Focus on creating content that educates, entertains, or inspires your viewers. This will help to build trust and credibility with your audience, ultimately leading to higher engagement and conversion rates.
4. Optimize for SEO: Just like written content, video content needs to be optimized for search engines. Use relevant keywords in your video titles, descriptions, and tags to make it easier for people to find your videos online. Additionally, consider transcribing your videos to make them more accessible and improve their SEO.
5. Leverage Social Media: Use social media platforms to promote and distribute your videos. Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are all great platforms for sharing video content and reaching a wider audience. Consider creating shorter versions of your videos to cater to the attention span of social media users.
6. Analyze and Iterate: Once your videos are live, it’s important to track the performance of your content. Use analytics to measure engagement, view duration, and conversion rates. This data will give you valuable insights into what is working and what isn’t, allowing you to refine your strategy and create more successful videos in the future.
In conclusion, video marketing is a powerful tool for businesses to connect with their audience and drive results. By defining your goals, knowing your audience, creating valuable content, optimizing for SEO, leveraging social media, and analyzing performance, you can create a successful video marketing strategy for 2019. Embracing these strategies will help your business stay ahead in the highly competitive digital landscape.

I have a simple question I hope someone can answer: if I go back and change up my titles or add to them, will youtube go back and look at them and rerank them? Is it beneficial to do so?
Next time make it short and focus on points watching 1 hour is too hard
Hey Tim, I recently have been getting quite a few requests from audio companies to test and review their products, with them sending me free products, and a few companies have returned to me to review more of their products after initially working with them. I obviously have jumped at the opportunities, but I was wondering something… When should I start "charging" a fee to review & showcase products? Thanks!

Hey Tim, I manage full time youtube channels and I found out possible bug about monetization bot, that bot wont allow monetization of channel because no copyright music was being used. I made a video about it on my channel, would be really happy if you would share your opinion on this matter. Thanks!
I've been thinking A LOT about refining my "target audience". Recently YouTube showed me a list of videos which "Esperanto Variety Show viewers also watch." The videos surprised me but I can't find that list again. (Does anybody know how to get YouTube to show us that again?) The results there and some of Renee's comments here has gotten me thinking in terms of shifting (or clarifying) who my target audience is.

The problem with listening to business people is they want to only use jargon and empty sales hype that is meaningless to anyone else, so they turn people off.
Thanks for doing these live streams and helping creators. And thanks for answering my question and the questions of other creators. It does a lot to support and build the YouTube community.
This helped me a lot. Watch my last video and see if I did a good job
