If I was starting my career over as a marketer, here’s how I would do it. First, I would binge watch every marketing video I could find on YouTube to get an understanding of what marketing is really all about. Then I’d apply for a job at a small company, and I would do this for two reasons. First, so I could learn while getting paid by working at a small company, I would get more exposure to different marketing areas.
So I could see what parts I liked and what parts I didn’t. Once I found an area of marketing that I enjoyed, I’d spend a few months learning everything I could about it, and I would start a side hustle. From there, probably focus on one of three different areas. Number one, Facebook or Google Ads. Number two, content creation for social media.
Number three, search engine optimization or SS e O, which is always in demand. After getting a few clients, I would hire my. First team member to help with fulfillment or sales, whichever I was weaker at, and I would call myself a marketing agency. From there, sky’s the limit. Scale it up, sell it, or try to automate it.
So it just keeps spitting out passive income each and every single month.

You make it sound so easy to just go and get a job at a small firm. Even after going through a marketing boot camp I couldn’t get a job in marketing “at a small firm”.
Speed
Love it.❤❤
What type of small company would you work for first? Can any regular company work and you ask to do the marketing for them?
Call yourself an agency 😊😂
Excellent advise thanks
