10. Who gets the revenue when Youtube puts ads on my videos, but I can't have the share of it because I lack 1000 subscribers?
    Youtube definitly aint fair here! And after I gain 1K subscribers then Youtube will say: "Sorry, you lack outrages 4K hours of watch time".

    But at the same time – they themselfs are placing ads on my videos.

23. Honestly, as a gaming channel, starting to sell spreadsheets about a game feels wrong to me. Like those guys on sketchy tv channels selling you winning lottery numbers. Or those ads: "I made 10k just sitting on my couch". Most information is free nowadays, and you should not fall for anything else. I passed my Linear Algebra final with a top grade thanks to a free MIT online course. Sure, not everybody is able to use Google in a meaningful way nowadays, but make a video guide. It's free in the sense that there will be some ads, and that's the creator earnings, but it will be free on the end user. But hiding something behind a paywall is not. Especially considering that most games give you license to use their intellectual property (the game) on the condition you don't hide the(ir) property behind a paywall. I'm still early on my journey and I'm learning every day, but if a sponsor will ever show up and asks me to promote a… gaming chair, sure, send it to me, I'll try it and if I'll find it good I'll promote it. But selling you stuff I probably got on the interwebs for free… I won't feel like an honest man. I can't avoid the comparison with a lot of fitness channels, they will sell you their "Absolutely sure plan for losing weight" for 10 bucks/euros, and in the end it's just "consume more calories than you're eating".

32. Oh look! More click bait from VidIQ. Man this channel used to have great stuff, but this is just flat out click bait. This is NOT making money on youtube, this is making money elsewhere and using youtube to help that revenue stream. This right here is why Youtube is really struggling with the "YOU" part of the name, it's no longer about a single person having a good time making videos, it's become a platform of product pushers and clickbait like this.

    TL;DR This isn't a video on how to make money on Youtube, this is a video on how to clickbait an audience for years on end. Try harder VidIQ
