6. Listened to this episode today! What a brilliant rapid fire deep dive into tactics! Absolutely loved this!

7. I had a poor performing thumbnail with a lower than typical CTR in the first hour.

   But I saw the likes to views ratio much higher and longer engagement than my usual videos. So after adjusting my thumbnail to be more appealing, the views started flowing in (from a 7/10 to 2/10)

   I was just glad to catch it early 😃

   I want to know if post a lot effects the youtube algorithm. Im a reaction channel. Sharing lots of new bands. But sometimes post 2-3 videos and on other channels. But also 2-3 shorts a day. I would love to know about that

12. I would think posting time definitely matters. If I post at an off time and my video gets almost no views (because my audience isn’t on-line), then YouTube decides my video is bad and doesn’t show the video as much as it would if I post at a good time and get a lot of views.

13. Does anyone know how to create shorts? I know you can film with your phone and just post it but I prefer to do a lot of editing. With my normal long form videos, I use the program that comes with my Mac. Any advice for creating shorts?? Ty!!

18. You are totally right. From this January 2023 and until today Youtube kind of keep more money … same viewers here but earning 30% lower … something happend

19. Even thought the “algorithm” doesn’t hurt your channel just because you had one bad video, it doesn’t mean that your viewers aren’t going to become less likely to click when you consistently make videos they’re not interested in.

20. no one knows the experts at youtube certainly dont know everything weve been told to write short titles my long titles but descriptive are blowing my channel up , every channel is unique as they say its the audeince that matters so saying one things works over another is bs as u dont know dynamics of the channel and its viewership

22. I'm so glad you asked about the revenue share. From the earn tab on analytics, our share of the revenue is definitely less than 55 percent as you rightly noticed, and I've wondered a lot about that. Unfortunately, I can say I'm satisfied with his answer! Hmmm…I wonder what is really going on.

The problem I see with youtube channels that "teach" people how to increase views and subs with thumbs, titles or whatever is that THEY DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU AND ME, they don't care about our experiences, they only cares about their numbers and statistics, they still don't get it, what does draw people to your channel IS THE QUALITY OF YOUR CONTENT! Personally, I don't care about your thumbs, how much you paid for your camera or mic or even the titles of your video, if I know I'll find good content on your channel, I'll be back for more, simple as that.
