Great series! Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you weren't allowed to upload the same video to your channel or another one of your channels. Clips I understand as that changes the original video but putting together a video compilation of say, 5 previous uploads, I would think is not allowed as that's kind of double dipping isn't it? Am I misunderstanding something or maybe YouTube has changed their policy on this? Thanks
We cut up clips from our longform episodes, and then create shorts from those clips to upload on all social media platforms. But, we’re going through a major dip right now, so engagement is next to nothing. We’re staying optimistic and motivated with the reason why and goals though. It’s tough. Have to believe in miracles!
Using ALL Modalities from ONE YT video is SO powerful to building brand. It works like a champ! Thanks for this great content of great ideas…
I like it
Wow sean.. just wow. Thank you. Truly love you man 🫡
It's so funny because I watch the podcast episodes on your Podcast channel but I also watch the clips that you sometimes put up here. And the second time, I always hear something that I missed originally.
I would love to take my fully edited short and put it on IG and Tiktok but I find I have to start from scratch. Is uploading the above even possible?
I frequently rewatch educational videos from creators I love because you can get something different every time! Which I guess is the same concept of them seeing it on shorts versus in the video. They may 1 be in a different place and be apply to apply it or 2. Just be reminded to bring it back into their focus
I’ve been using this technique to get more content on my channel thanks to you guys. I’ve been filming a weekly live podcast that either address FAQ for my niche or FAQ for a specific topic in my niche, outlined to at least 7 questions, so when the live is done I can clip it into 7 different videos, which I then pair down into shorts. Love y’all thank you so much for the information.
Very informative

Unlike most states, you are limited to a maximum of 1-2 rods while fishing.
Thank you
This video is my guilty pleasure. Can't resist it!
Have no clue on how to do this. I am new at this and after 6 months i have 95 subscribers.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I’ve taken your oft-recommended advice of creating shorts from longs, and I have to say…thanks! It HAS helped get subscribers. Now I have to try the other suggestions!
I have a question: if you put together videos that you have already uploaded to make a longer video,is YouTube not going to penalize you as the images and words spoken in the video have already been uploaded previously? Kind of Reused content penalty? Anyone with an idea about this question kindly give insight. Thanks
Agreed. I only wish there was a good service that would break this up for you at a reasonable price. 🙂
Like the idea about repurposing vertical. Testing to see if the platforms "punish" the content if it is used "as is" on all of them (eg. YouTube Short as IG/FB Reel). For sure, linking a YouTube video on Facebook gets no reach at all! Thoughts on this?
You gave me some tips I had not even thought about. I thought this was going to be just reposting shorts on Tik Tok or Instagram. I like the idea of a shorter series with a longer video at the end of the year. I have also see compilation videos of shorts. Work smarter not harder.
Bro! You can't give us a bonus "AI Tool" and not deliver in the same video! I need that info…today. Great vid, watched it 3X. Thanks Sean!
Thank you- simple and powerful ideas and actions to take!
Thanks! Your videos are awesome!
Love it. Thank you.
I would think that this would be obvious things to do. Another tip would be the patron only content can be released after say a certain amount of time like a month or two to regular YouTube video. Because not only are you wasting it if you only allowing patron to view it and come on after a month if they haven't watched it yet then they probably would not. It will also make some people interested in becoming a patron to get access to the content.
I love the idea of being the host of a compilation of your own videos that you have stitched together.
repurposing content very useful not sure about reducing stress Cinematography is more stressful that it looks. informative content.
Sean love how you support us you are such a legend,,please talk about the struggles of niching down and also talk about how youtube is starting to feel like a rich kids club the top 1% have a big share of the algorithm and its very frustrating
Gotta keep ya grind efficient
Support you always 😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
